I lost my household code
In the app: Join with a code → Lost your code? — enter your recovery email and we'll send the code back. No recovery email enrolled? The code is visible on any device already in the household, under Family. If you have neither, the synced copy can't be recovered (that's the encryption working as designed) — but every device keeps working locally with full data.
Restore my ChoreTrack Plus purchase
Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple/Google account that originally subscribed. Plus also spreads to the whole household automatically once any synced device has it.
Sync isn't updating between phones
Both devices need ChoreTrack Plus active in the household and "phone sync" turned on (Family tab). Changes push a few seconds after you make them and pull when the app opens — use Sync now in Family to force it. Both devices must be online.
A kid forgot their PIN
Any parent can reset it: Family → tap the kid → Change kid PIN.
I forgot the parent PIN
If another parent's phone is synced to the household, change it there (Family → Parent PIN) and it syncs over. On a single device with no sync, the parent PIN cannot be bypassed by design — contact us and we'll walk you through the reset options.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, so refunds go through them: Apple users via reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play users via the Play Store order history.

Family → Export everything (CSV). Free, always, no strings.
