the family chore & rewards app
Chores in,
rewards out.
Kids check off chores, earn points, and spend them on a prize shelf you control — screen time, ice cream trips, movie night picks. Parents approve with a PIN. Everyone sees the jars fill up.

A chore chart kids actually want to use
ChoreTrack keeps everything families loved about classic chore apps — and fixes everything they hated.
Points & gold-star check-offs
Every chore is worth points. Kids tap, a gold star lands, and their jar fills up. Streaks and medals keep the momentum going.
The prize shelf
You decide the rewards: an hour of screen time for 50 points, a sleepover for 250. Kids see exactly what they're saving for.
Kid mode with PINs
Each kid gets their own PIN view on the shared family device — just their jobs, their jar, their prizes. No accounts, no emails, ever.
Parent approval
Optionally, kid check-offs wait for a parent's OK — PIN-protected on shared devices, one tap on yours. No more "I totally made my bed."
Syncs to every parent's phone
With Plus, both parents see check-offs, approve chores, and get nudged when something needs an OK — end-to-end encrypted.
Weekly report cards
Every week, a report card per kid: chores done, points earned, streaks and prizes. Share it as a PDF with grandparents.
Privacy isn't a feature. It's the architecture.
Most family apps monetize your data. ChoreTrack can't — there's nothing to monetize.
No accounts, no sign-up
Your family is never a row in our database. Kids are nicknames on your own device, full stop.
We can't read your data
Phone sync travels as end-to-end encrypted blobs, keyed by a code only your family knows. We store ciphertext we cannot open.
Your data leaves with you
One-tap CSV export of every chore, point, and prize — always free. If we ever disappear, your family's history doesn't.
Simple pricing, no surprises
One price per family — never per kid, never per seat, never metered.

Frequently asked questions
Is ChoreTrack free?
Yes. The free version covers 2 kids and 10 chores on one shared family device, with kid PINs and a parent PIN. ChoreTrack Plus ($5/month or $50/year per family) adds sync to every parent's phone, unlimited kids, chores and prizes, weekly report cards, and full activity history.
Does ChoreTrack collect my family's data?
No. There are no accounts and no sign-up — your family's chores, points and names live on your own devices. If you turn on phone sync, data travels as end-to-end encrypted blobs we cannot read. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
Is ChoreTrack a good OurHome alternative?
Yes — ChoreTrack was built for families left behind when OurHome was abandoned. Same loved core (chores, points, rewards store, per-kid views), plus the fix for the wound: one-tap export means your data always leaves with you. More on switching from OurHome.
How does parent approval work?
Optionally, chores checked off by kids wait as "pending" until a parent approves them — with the parent PIN on a shared device, or one tap on a parent's own phone. Points land in the jar only after approval.
Do my kids need accounts or phones?
No. Kids use the shared family device with their own PIN. No email, no account, no phone required — and no child data is ever collected.
What ages does it work for?
Roughly 4–14. Big buttons and gold-star stickers for early readers; points, streaks and the prize shelf keep older kids motivated.
How do I cancel ChoreTrack Plus?
Through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, anytime. The free tier keeps working forever, and export is always free.
